This month's rankings are packed with highlights: WorkBuddy doubled for the second consecutive month, and four major players secured their positions in the AI office entry point; Kimi's K3 dividend faded within a month; in the overseas rankings, video generation continued to stall while 3D generation took over. Chinese products claimed 11 spots in the global Top 50. Here are the details.

Global AI Website Rankings
August 2026
According to AIGCRank's global rankings for August, the top tier remained stable: ChatGPT continued to dominate with 5.64 billion visits (up 3.45% month-over-month, accelerating from July's 1.27%); Gemini ranked second with 2.62 billion (-2.59%, declining but at a slower pace); Claude held third with 950 million (-1.97%); DeepSeek ranked fourth with 354 million (+2.14%), returning to growth.
Gemini Notebook (171 million, +6.75%) rose to 6th: the former NotebookLM completed its brand upgrade and officially integrated into the Gemini product matrix.
Chinese products (including overseas-focused ones) held 11 spots in the global Top 50, same as July—but the composition changed: WorkBuddy (14.095 million, +134.98%) and Meshy AI (13.68 million, +22.91%) entered the global Top 50 for the first time, replacing the stagnating Kling AI. Among them, Kimi (51.238 million, -14.75%) fell to 19th: the surge driven by the K3 launch in July (+52.19%) faded within a month—event-driven traffic comes and goes quickly, and Kimi's next phase depends on product-driven traffic.
Entries and exits this month: New entries: Magnific, OpenCode, Wanderboat, WorkBuddy, Meshy AI; Exits: Adot, Use AI, Replit, Kling AI, Genspark.

China AI Website Rankings
August 2026
In the August domestic AI website rankings, DeepSeek (354 million, +2.14%) firmly held the top spot and returned to growth; Doubao (160 million, +4.57%) ranked second. Kimi (51.238 million, -14.75%) dropped to 4th, while Baidu Wenxin Assistant (56.568 million) rose to 3rd—both reflecting the reversion after the K3 dividend faded.
WorkBuddy (14.095 million, +134.98%) rose to 6th: it entered the rankings for the first time in July at 11th, then doubled again in August. This surge is not an isolated case—Alibaba's Qwen Office entered public beta, Baidu's Kuku AI launched a standalone app, ByteDance's Doubao Work was released, and Tencent's WorkBuddy—four major players secured their office entry points in the same month. The battle for entry points has just begun, and September is the key window for traffic realization. Whether WorkBuddy can maintain its first-mover advantage will depend on the head-on competition as giants enter the fray. "AIGCRank China AI Office Agent Report · Issue 01" (2026.08)
Qwen AI Platform (2.554 million, +100.51%, ranked 22nd): first time on the list, taking a "model + platform" full-stack approach, competing head-on with DeepSeek and Zhipu's API endpoints. Its traffic volume is still small, but it enters at a time when the industry is cutting prices and expanding volume, making it an opportune start. Tabbit Browser (1.734 million, ranked 26th): produced by Meituan's Guangnian Zhiwai, entering the rankings for the first time this month. Interestingly, OpenAI officially discontinued ChatGPT Atlas in August—this AI-native browser, once called a "once-in-a-decade opportunity" by Altman, lasted less than 10 months before the giant retreated after costly experimentation; meanwhile, Tabbit is currently the only player in China still betting from scratch on AI-native browsers. While others are adding AI to existing browsers, Tabbit bets that the browser itself should be AI—whether AI-native browsers are truly a real need, Tabbit's next phase will provide the answer.
Entries and exits this month: New entries: Qwen AI Platform, Tabbit Browser; Exits: ima, AutoDL Computing Cloud.

Overseas AI Website Rankings
August 2026
In the August overseas AI website rankings, Qwen Studio (38.424 million, +9.57%) continued to grow and held the top spot; Manus (25.0 million, +27.73%) rebounded: in August, it officially announced the resumption of independent operations, and traffic voted in favor of "independence."
Hyper3D (9.322 million, +44.83%) rose to 11th, achieving the largest gain in the overseas rankings, with two consecutive months of high growth and traffic doubling in two months. Meshy AI (+22.91%) and Dola (+19.14%) also rose, making 3D generation the most established track in this month's overseas rankings.
However, the "old trump cards" in overseas markets are stalling: AI video generation, which in June had 9 sites and over a third of the share, firmly in the top tier, entered a digestion phase in July (Dreamina -17.89%), and the decline widened in August—Dreamina -30.35%, HakkoAI -29.39%, Kling AI and HeyGen both turned negative, while Vidu and Pippit dropped off the list entirely. Video generation is handing the baton to 3D generation in the overseas rankings—the "tool stickiness" narrative validated by the previous generation must be proven anew in this new track.
Entries and exits this month: New entries: RunningHub, EaseMate AI; Exits: Pippit, Vidu.
