When you use our network testing services, such as website speed tests, Ping, or traceroute, we record the test target you submit (a domain name or IP address), the test time, and test parameters. We use this information to generate results and provide test history.

To recommend test nodes based on location, we may use your IP address to determine an approximate city-level location and network provider. We do not collect your precise location.

If you create an account, we collect only the registration information required for account access and recovery, such as your email address.

We use the information we collect only to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our network testing services;
• Produce aggregated and anonymized statistics, such as rankings of popular test targets;
• Protect the service and identify or prevent malicious requests and abuse;
• Comply with applicable laws and lawful requests from regulatory authorities.

We use cookies and browser local storage to remember preferences such as your language, theme, and frequently used test nodes. You can clear this data through your browser settings at any time, although some features may no longer work as expected.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose relevant information only with your explicit authorization, when required by law or legal process, or when necessary to protect the lawful rights and interests of Chahu or the public.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and least-privilege practices. Test history is retained for 90 days by default and is deleted automatically when the retention period expires.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may close your account. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the footer. We will process your request within 15 business days.

We may revise this policy from time to time. Material changes will be identified by an updated date at the top of this page and announced on the site. By continuing to use the service, you accept the revised policy.
